MamaGaia NZ is in a phase of transition and we're excited to share this news with you.
With a vision to be a part of the plastics solution, Karen created a beautiful product from post consumer plastics that may have otherwise been destined for landfill or the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. With grit and determination, while nurturing her family and working as an ED doctor, Karen created MamaGaia.
The baton has now been passed to the Watson Family in Hawke’s Bay, who have accepted the role of kaitiaki for MamaGaia NZ. Aiming to continue Karen’s legacy with a view to be a part of the waste reduction movement, the Watson’s will source, clean, shred and remodel post-consumer plastics into beautiful homewares for the conscientious community.
